RYA FIRST AID COURSE
Our RYA Shorebased coruses are delivered at a riverside venue overlooking the on Thames in Greenwich, London which is only a 10 minute walk from the old Royal Naval College and the Cutty Sark in Greenwich Town Centre. This amazing location offers a fantastic training envoirment being able to see some of londons iconic land marks.
Introduction to the course:
The one-day course covers all the standard first aid subjects, however from a boating perspective. This course is aimed at anyone who goes afloat on inland waters, rivers, estuaries or on cross channel passages.

What's involved?
The First aid course will teach you the basics of being a first responder and how to best treat a casualty until help can arrive..
Some of the modules covered are: Dealing with personal safety, Resuscitation, Hypothermia, Bleeding, Broken bones and Casualty management.
