Thames Active offer a range of Online training courses on behalf of the RYA, these are delivered through the RYA interactive website.
Why choose us ? On completion of enrolling on the course you will have online support avaliable from our knowlegebale team who will be able to talk you through any queries.
When you register for the course with us online, you will be issued with a login, password and a link to the RYA interactive website. The courses are suitable for Windows and Mac however click here to check the compatibility with your software.
We aim to enrol you onto your course within the same working day (Monday - Friday 9:00 - 17:00)
RYA Safe and Fun
This course is suitable for anyone working with children and vulnerable adults in an RYA environment. This includes those volunteering or working at recognised training centres and affiliated clubs.
It is a requirement for all newly qualifying Level 2 Racing Coaches, Dinghy and Windsurfing Instructors and Senior Instructors to complete prior to their instructor/coach training course. They must also complete a pre-course worksheet which is accessed within the Safe & Fun course, and take that with them to the instructor course.
This course is equivalent to 3 hours classroom training. However, the benefit of learning online is that you can work through it at your own speed
