The Thames Active team were up bright and early to tow the boats from Richmond up to Hampton Court. The team got to witness the old traditions of the Thames, however in the heat of 33 degrees we are sure the crews in full 'Tudor Dress' were feeling the heat !
Lots of boats joined the procession to Richmond which were then joined by additional boats for the Race to the finish. Some rowers clocked up over 25 miles in the heat however our safety crews were on hand delivering ice cold water to the boats as they came down.
